To ensure that your trash container gets collected, please follow these guidelines:
- Bag your trash to prevent wind-blown litter during collection and to keep your container clean.
- Place your container curbside no later than 7 a.m. on your scheduled collection day, or the night before.
- Containers should be placed at least five feet away from any obstructions including other containers, parked vehicles, mailboxes, low wires and limbs, and any other obstruction that would prevent the automated arm of the trash truck from collecting the container.
- The arrows on your container lid should be facing the street when set out for collection.
- Do not place extra garbage or items around or on top of your container.
